There is a place for them here.
Throughout October, our Ancestor Altar at Touch of Magick is a shared space to honor, remember, and give thanks to those who came before us. We opened the month with Alain and Mimi’s Ancestor Blessing for Prosperity & Abundance on October 4, and our altar will remain up throughout the month.
Perhaps it is your grandmother, your father, a relative you never had the chance to meet, or a loved one whose presence you still carry with you. You are welcome to leave their name and share in this community remembrance, wherever you are.
We will write submitted names on our white-and-gold cards and place them in the gold container on the altar, where they will remain through our closing ceremony.

An invitation to remember
Leave an ancestor’s name
To have us add a name, use the form at the bottom of this page. In the Ancestor names & remembrance field, write each name exactly as you would like it to appear on the card. You may also include your relationship and a short memory or dedication.
Adding a name is free. If you feel called to leave a donation with your request, the contribution buttons below let you include names with your offering. Please use either method once for the same names.
Names are received by our team and added to the physical altar by hand. They are not automatically displayed on a public online wall. Your email is for following up on your request.
Submit a name without donatingBring an offering
You are welcome to visit the altar and bring flowers, fruit, or a photograph in remembrance of your loved one. You can also write a name on a card here at the shop.
Please speak with our team before placing offerings, and let us know if a photograph needs to be returned to you.

Optional donations help us provide candles, flowers, and other offerings, and tend this shared space throughout October.
Every contribution is appreciated. You do not need to make a donation to have your loved one remembered.

Choose an optional contribution for the upkeep of our community altar. You may include an ancestor’s name with it or simply support the candles, flowers, and shared offerings.

Closing the month with gratitude
At the end of October, we will perform a special closing ceremony to give thanks, release, and send our love as we close the month together. The names placed on our community altar will be included in this closing remembrance.
